What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce platforms
  • Implement technical solutions in collaboration with the team and clients
  • Perform performance tuning and platform optimization
  • Review code written by teammates to ensure consistency and quality
  • Contribute to the evolution of our tech stack and internal development practices
  • Translate feature requests into technical architecture and implementation
  • Work on frontend customization using Hyvä, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs
  • Solid experience with CLI, Composer, and Git — must-have for this role
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (PHPUnit, integration testing); medior-level candidates should have basic experience, senior candidates — solid expertise
  • Attention to code quality — familiarity with tools like PHPStan is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions); knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar tools is a plus
  • Ability to translate feature requirements into scalable, maintainable code
  • Frontend experience with Hyvä, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
