What You’ll Do

  • Develop new features and customize Shopify/Shopify Plus stores
  • Work with Shopify themes: create from scratch, customize existing ones, and tailor them to business needs
  • Integrate third-party services using RESTful APIs
  • Optimize site performance and ensure high-quality, responsive front-end implementation
  • Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and fellow developers
  • Participate in technical planning, task estimation, and improving internal workflows
  • Maintain existing infrastructure and apply best coding practices across all projects

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in web development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus
  • Solid knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS/LESS
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating them
  • Basic TypeScript skills — a plus
  • Confident use of Git and experience in collaborative development environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience building private or public Shopify Apps
  • Understanding of headless eCommerce architecture
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and familiarity with Storefront API
  • Experience optimizing Shopify stores for high-traffic scenarios
