CTO | AI Startup | US Product

We’re looking for a CTO to take real ownership of technology, security, product vision, strategy, and engineering for a fast-growing AI product. This is not a management-only role. We need a strong technical leader who can move between product strategy, architecture, security, engineering management — and still understand the code.

We're looking for

  • 8–9+ years of software development experience

  • CTO / VP Engineering / Head of Engineering / Tech Lead / Staff+ background

  • Strong React + TypeScript + AWS experience

  • Serverless / event-driven architecture

  • Strong security mindset

  • Experience building and scaling products and engineering teams

  • Active, hands-on experience with AI coding tools/agents during the last year — Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar is a MUST

  • Able to clearly explain how you use AI in your daily development workflow, what tools you use, and what you’ve actually built with them

  • Experience with other languages is a plus — Node.js, Python, PHP, or anything else. We value versatile engineers with a broad technical mindset

  • Strong product sense and ability to connect technology with business

  • English — Upper-Intermediate+

This is a US-based product & team. Partial overlap with the US team, until ~20:00–21:00 Kyiv time
